R/C HELIS

ThirdCoast Helis Stable

12/31/2012
My first purchase was the Blade MCX2, a coaxial heli that one can fly around inside the house. This is a very stable heli and a great way to peek inside the hobby without spending a lot of money. There is no set up time, simple unbox it, charge the included Lipo (3.7v) and spin it up. You cannot harm anyone or any of the furniture with this beginner model.
The cost: $119.00 From Mike's Hobby Shop

My second heli arrived today, the Blade 120 SR. With the guidance of my heli coach, Doug Darby, I bought this heli to begin my training. Everything that I have read says that this heli is try stable due to the 45 degree Flybar. This heli also has a tail rotor and can zip around at a fast pace outdoors as long as there is no or very little breeze. The 120 SR
is 12.5 inches in overall length and is very responsive to stick input. You can bind this to the radio that came with the first heli or bind it to your multi-channel radio that you will continue to use going forward.
The cost: $125.00 From Aero Hobbies in Lewisville, TX

Next up is the Radio Transmitter, my SPEKTRUM DX7s is on the way. More on this soon.
